Our service will be a pot luck brunch.  We will begin with a chalice lighting and “Spirit of Life”, followed by going around the table and giving thanks for the laborers in our lives.  After the meal, stay and play some ball or Frisbee; we’ll bring some fun yard toys (and you can bring some, too!).  Attendees are invited to bring dishes made, when possible, with local and organically grown food.  Please also invite your friends/farmers from your favorite CSA, farmers market, local farms, and backyard growers (an informational flier will be circulated at services prior to September).   We’ll have a poster on which you can list the name of your favorite local grower/farm stand to generate a list for dissemination. Bring a copy of your favorite recipes, too, and we’ll put together a UUCRT recipe booklet!
