Algonquins, Unitarians and French Philosophers of Freedom: A Three-Cornered Story

A message went out from the Algonquin wilderness: “Cherish your personal freedom!” It was heard by French explorers of Terra Nova who passed it on to French philosophers back home. Their writings were read by Unitarians in America, and three of those helped write the Declaration of Independence and the words “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” Interfaith Minister Evan Pritchard will examine this centuries-long struggle for freedom in the light of evidence found in the best-selling book The Dawn of Everything and elsewhere. https://youtu.be/HTBsg4Rp_6E
