County Human Rights Commission to Recognize Rev. Antal April 19

The Orange County Human Rights Commission will be recognizing Rev. Chris J. Antal for his humanitarian deeds and actions at its 22nd annual awards dinner Wednesday, April 19 at Kuhl’s Highland House, 512 Highland Ave., in Middletown.

Rev. Antal, Dr. Ron Israelski, Abdullah Rahaman, Lana Williams-Scott and Christopher D. Watkins, Esq. are this year’s award recipients from the commission.

According to the Rev. Antal “I intend to receive the award on behalf of the UUCRT, and will have the opportunity to speak to the gathering about all the good work the UUCRT is doing and supporting.”

A portion of the cost of $65 per person goes toward a human rights scholarship for a graduating 2017 Orange County high school graduate. Reservations are required by April 7.
