UUCRT Board of Trustees Meeting Notes, August 12th, 2025

• Administrative Assistant Donna Polat reviewed various tasks that she is responsible for.
• Member Sandra Kasam requested use of our Meeting House on 8-30-25 from 12-5 for a birthday party.
• Also, Birch school wants to host an open house on 9-8.
• Birch School Report: The school has approved the new contract, which includes a raise in their rent. They want to hold a yard sale in the fellowship hall and leave unsold items in the fellowship hall over a weekend.
• Finance Report: Income of $8,590, with a budget of $5,800. Total expenses were $6,404 on a budget of $6,500.
• Welcoming: Jim Tarvin- We are going to have a brunch for young families on September 6th. Children can invite their friends.
• Religious Education: Steve DiLorenzo has agreed to be the liaison for that Ministry. There is a need to consider having two
  teachers
• Social Action: Donna has volunteered to be the liaison for that group. We now have a banner to take to marches or events.
• Building and Grounds: Steve Deutch. The status of the stair project. The original contractor has backed out of the stair project. Steve is seeking another and reviewing cost of repaving.
• Rev. Diane: Pastoral Report. Soul Matters will be starting up in September. We will do a joint soul matters with the Poughkeepsie group on Zoom on Wednesdays.
